The Philips Heartstart FR2/FR2+ AED Infant/Child Reduced-Energy Defibrillator Pads are designed to allow responders with minimal training to effectively and safely administer defibrillation to infants and children under 8 years old or weighing less than 55 pounds.
These specialized infant/child pads are equipped with electronics that decrease the defibrillator's shock energy from 150 to 50 Joules, delivering a suitable dose of SMART Biphasic therapy for young children and infants.
