The PDS II Suture is a monofilament, synthetic, absorbable suture designed for various soft tissue closures, including pediatric cardiovascular procedures where tissue growth is anticipated, as well as ophthalmic surgeries.
This suture is ideal for situations requiring both absorbability and prolonged wound support, lasting up to six weeks.
Common applications include:

The PDS II suture is fully absorbed within 182 to 238 days.
