Tristel Duo ULT
Tristel Duo ULT is a chlorine dioxide foam formulated for advanced disinfection of endocavity ultrasound probes. It ensures rapid, safe, and effective disinfection while maintaining excellent compatibility with materials.
Tristel Duo ULT features dual compartments containing Tristel Base solution (citric acid) and Tristel Activator solution (sodium chlorite). When activated by the foam pump, it generates Tristel’s unique chlorine dioxide chemistry.
Tristel Duo ULT is certified as a Class IIb Medical Device with CE marking.
Human Papillomavirus (HPV) is a small, non-enveloped DNA virus with over 200 types. Types 16 and 18 are linked to about 70% of cervical cancer cases. A recent study by Meyers et al. (2020) confirms that Duo ULT effectively neutralizes infectious HPV types 16 and 18 on transvaginal ultrasound probes and flexible nasendoscopes within 30 seconds.
