This gynaecological simulator ZOE® represents a female adult lower body with relevant internal anatomical landmarks and anatomically accurate female genital organs, fimbriae and ovaries. Various pelvic examinations can be trained with this gynaecological simulator which includes laparoscopy, mini-laparotomy as well as recognition of pathologies and placing of contraceptive devices.
Gynaecological training includes:
- Full size female lower torso with relevant internal anatomic landmarks
- Bi-manual pelvic examination
- Palpation of normal and pregnant uteri
- Vaginal examination, which includes insertion of speculum
- Visual recognition of normal and abnormal cervices
- Uterine sounding
- IUD insertion and removal
- Distal end of vagina facilitates introduction of a female condom or sizing a 75mm diaphragm
- Removable introitus adds flexibility for addition of multiple ZOE® options
- Laparoscopic visualization and occlusion of fallopian tubes
- Minilaparotomy
- 1 anteverted and one retroverted parous uterus
- 1 normal uterus with short fallopian tubes for palpation exercises
- Early pregnancy uteri. One is 6-8 weeks and the other is 10-12 weeks
- 1 twenty-week pregnant uterus
