The ZOLL AED Plus® offers more than just defibrillation. It stands out as the sole AED that guides occasional rescuers to act correctly during a sudden cardiac arrest emergency. How does it achieve this? By providing straightforward coaching through each critical phase of the rescue. It features integrated text, voice, and visual cues, along with real-time feedback on compression speed and depth to ensure high-quality CPR. If compressions are too light, the Zoll AED Plus will instruct to ‘push harder,’ and if they are adequate, it will affirm with ‘Good Compressions.’ A metronome helps maintain the recommended compression rate per minute as per the Resuscitation Council RC(UK). The Zoll AED Plus prompts the rescuer to initiate or continue CPR if they pause or slow down. Uniquely, the AED Plus, with its one-piece electrode, can assess the rate and depth of chest compressions during CPR, ensuring rescuers deliver the most effective CPR. Every sudden cardiac arrest victim requires optimal CPR for survival.
