How does this sackholder function?
This sackholder is operated via a foot pedal. Users simply press the pedal to open the lid, allowing waste disposal without direct contact. The lid fits snugly within the frame, eliminating the need for manual lifting.
Does this sackholder comply with fire safety standards?
This Eco Sackholder is built to rigorous standards and adheres to HTM 05-03 Managing Healthcare Fire Safety guidelines as specified by the Department of Health. Our enclosed sackholders have undergone independent testing by Exova Warrington Fire Research, and we utilize Class ‘O’ fire-rated Plastisol bodies that meet the stringent criteria set by the British Board of Agrement.

How is this sackholder emptied?
To empty the sackholder, press the foot pedal to raise the lid and lift the frame to release the bag. Remove the bag from the top and replace it with a new one. Fold the bag's edges over the bin and lower the frame to secure it. Release the pedal to close the lid.
What color options are available for this sackholder?
This sackholder comes in white as standard, with various lid color options to facilitate safe healthcare waste segregation.
- Select white to maintain a uniform color and identify your waste stream with the bag or vinyl stickers.
- Choose yellow for Category A Hazardous Waste destined for incineration, such as drug-contaminated sharps.
- Opt for orange for Infectious Waste, also incinerated, including items like dressings from infected wounds.
- Green is available for food waste or mixed recycling.
