The Wireless Deluxe Alertamat is most effective when positioned by the bedside or entrance; it triggers an alarm when a user steps on the mat, leaving their safe area. This notifies the caregiver to check on the user's safety. Choosing a color that matches the current flooring makes it an excellent option for environments where a dementia patient might try to avoid the mat.
The Wireless Deluxe Alertamat can be integrated with a nurse call system via the Alerta Wall Point Receiver for centralized activation or used independently for localized alerts through the Alerta Wall Point Receiver alone. The volume can be muted for silent operation in the room when connected to a nurse call system.
