The Rovers Cervex-Brush is not recommended for use on patients beyond the first 10 weeks of pregnancy.

Usage Instructions

  1. The Rovers Cervex-Brush should be handled with care.
  2. Gently insert the central bristles of the brush into the endocervical canal.
  3. With gentle pressure, rotate the Rovers Cervex-Brush five times in a clockwise motion.
    • A1. Place the Rovers Cervex-Brush into the vial (not included) containing preservative fluid and adhere to the instructions provided by the Pap Preparation Method manufacturer.
    • A2. Securely reseal the vial.
  • B1. Transfer the collected cell material to the slide using a painting motion, first on one side and then the other side of the brush.
  • B2. Immediately apply fixative to the slide.
