The HCG Pregnancy Test Cassette offers a quick, single-step method for detecting human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) in urine, assisting in early pregnancy detection. Designed for in vitro diagnostic self-use.
This test employs a blend of antibodies, including a monoclonal HCG antibody, to specifically identify increased HCG levels. The procedure involves adding the urine sample to the designated well and watching for the appearance of red lines. The sample moves through the membrane by capillary action to interact with the colored conjugate. Positive samples will react with the antibody-HCG-colored conjugate, forming a red line in the test line area of the membrane.

Testing Instructions:
Ensure both the test and sample reach room temperature before proceeding.
- Sample Collection:
Use a fresh urine sample; no special preparation is needed. Collect samples in a clean, dry glass or plastic container. Samples can be refrigerated (2-8°C) and kept for up to 48 hours. - Conducting the Test:
Place the device on a flat surface. Use the dropper to add 2-3 drops of urine to the sample well “S” as directed by the arrow. - Interpreting Results:
- Wait for the red bands to develop. Read the test within 5 minutes. Do not interpret results after this time.
Result Interpretation:
Two red lines indicate a positive result, while a single line next to C signifies a negative result.
If only one line appears next to P or no lines appear, the test is invalid and should be repeated.
