A vital component in infection prevention and control (IPC) across various industries, SoChlor (Sodium dichloroisocyanurate, NaDCC) serves as an innovative, eco-friendly precursor to hypochlorous acid – a chlorine-based, secure, and potent disinfectant. Featuring a range of ready-to-use tablets, SoChlor TAB tablets dissolve to achieve the precise disinfectant concentration every time*, streamlining disinfection procedures and minimizing product waste.
SoChlor’s biomimetic technology mimics the natural response of certain white blood cells, releasing a non-toxic, biodegradable compound, hypochlorous acid, upon contact with pathogens. When dissolved in water, NaDCC also releases hypochlorous acid – the safe, intelligent active ingredient in SoChlor. With a significantly higher level of available chlorine, hypochlorous acid is about 100 times more effective than household bleach, ensuring SoChlor’s antimicrobial efficacy against pathogens such as bacteria, yeast, and fungi.
The stable, tablet form of SoChlor TAB and its compact size facilitate easy transportation. With increased quantities per shipment due to reduced packaging, they offer a more sustainable solution for infection control.
SoChlor TAB tablets have been tested and certified to meet EN test standards: BS:EN1650; BS:EN1276; BS:EN13697 and comply with UK Department of Health, HPA, and WHO guidelines for isolation, terminal, and general environmental cleaning and disinfection.
