The affordable, low-resistance SafeTway® mouthpiece permits expired air to enter the measurement system without returning to the user. This straightforward yet innovative patented design alleviates concerns about accidental pathogen inhalation.
The SafeTway serves as a cost-effective substitute for bacterial viral filters in expiratory-only assessments. It is compatible with most pulmonary function testing devices, including peak flow meters. An adaptor might be necessary.
The Mini SafeTway, featuring a 22mm diameter mouthpiece, is also offered for pediatric use or for elderly individuals who find it challenging to use the standard mouthpiece size.
