The ABPM-06 represents the newest high-end ambulatory blood pressure monitor from Meditech. While the ABPM-06 may appear familiar externally, it boasts a range of cutting-edge features designed for enhanced patient comfort, informed by extensive customer feedback.

Central to the ABPM-06 is a next-generation Oscillometric algorithm developed by Meditech, offering unparalleled accuracy. Confident in its precision, Meditech subjected the ABPM-06 to rigorous clinical validation across three distinct protocols, achieving an AA grade.

The ABPM-06 introduces significant Meditech advancements to ABPM devices. The innovative SleepWell® feature, integrated with the new algorithm, ensures the device only repeats unsuccessful measurements when measurement frequency is low and no successful readings have been recorded for an extended period, promoting a restful night's sleep for patients.

The ABPM-06 also debuts a Control Measurement function. When activated, the device conducts an initial test measurement within two minutes of setup. This function verifies successful programming and proper device operation before patient use, providing an automatic baseline reading in clinical settings, aiding in the diagnosis of conditions like White Coat Hypertension or Masked Hypertension.

Featuring automatic cuff detection, the ABPM-06 identifies the attached cuff size (small, medium, large) and adjusts inflation and deflation for optimal comfort, enhancing patient compliance. The measurement range has been expanded, with Systolic measurements increased by 11% and Diastolic by 24% compared to the ABPM-05.

A new built-in voice memo feature allows patients to record up to eight fifteen-second messages, offering clinicians insights into patient experiences and symptoms such as dizziness or palpitations. These voice memos are stored in the device and transferred to the CardioVisions software upon download to a PC, eliminating the need for paper diaries.

In response to customer feedback, the ABPM-06 now utilizes a cost-effective standard USB communication cable, and the LCD screen has been enhanced to display more measurement information. The blood pressure measurement range has been extended to 30-280 mmHg, and heart rate to 40-240 beats per minute, with pulse rate accuracy at ±1%.
