The affordable, low-resistance SafeTway® mouthpiece permits expired air to enter the measurement system while preventing it from returning to the user. This straightforward yet innovative patented design eliminates the risk of accidental pathogen inhalation.
The SafeTway serves as a cost-effective option for expiratory-only testing, compatible with most pulmonary function test devices, including peak flow meters. An adaptor might be necessary.
The Mini SafeTway, featuring a 22mm diameter mouthpiece, is also offered for pediatric use or for elderly individuals who find it challenging to use the standard mouthpiece size.
