The SOF® Tourniquet establishes the standard for emergency tourniquets. Engineered for swift one-handed or two-handed use, the SOF® Tourniquet’s reinforced, low-stretch polyester band effortlessly fits over an arm or leg.
Its robust buckle quickly detaches and reattaches, providing access to tight spaces and trapped limbs. A stitched indicator wedge beneath the windlass visually confirms when all slack is removed, ensuring effective application.
The aircraft-grade aluminum windlass rod features a textured grip for reliable twisting. The windlass locks into a Tri-Ring Lock™ and Tourniquet Retention Assistance Clip™ (TRAC).

SOF® Tourniquet includes Guide:
- 1. PERFORMANCE COMPRESSION BAND - reinforced polyester webbing that maximizes compression and application speed. At a true 1.5” width, the material glides smoothly through the Rugged Buckle for easy and effective one-handed and two-handed applications.
- 2. SLACK INDICATOR WEDGE - stitched into the Performance Compression Band below the windlass. The contrasting wedge provides visual confirmation that all excess slack has been removed from the band. This critical step ensures proper tourniquet application and reduces the number of windlass rotations needed to achieve occlusion.
