Ferno® Scoop EXL Stretcher. The Preferred Stretcher for Paramedics.
The Ferno Scoop EXL Stretcher provides exceptional comfort and protection for patients requiring spinal immobilization. It removes the necessity for log-roll techniques, greatly minimizing movement to the patient's cervical spine and lowering the risk of additional injury.
The two-hinged, interlocking sections adapt to patient height and enable operators to connect the two halves beneath the patient to gently “scoop” them up. The radiolucent, thermally-treated polymer build maintains a consistent temperature for enhanced patient comfort, and the easy-to-clean surface is resistant to fluids.
The Scoop EXL Stretcher has demonstrated superior performance compared to the conventional rigid long backboard for spinal immobilization. Ideal for use in patient recovery operations within challenging and confined spaces with a maximum load capacity of 227kg.
