Hibiwash® serves as a reliable solution for infection prevention, enhancing skin health, and optimizing time efficiency prior to surgical interventions. It features 4% Chlorhexidine Gluconate, known for its extensive antimicrobial properties, and has been a staple in hospital settings for many years.
Consistent application of Hibiwash can lower the likelihood of SSIs in 11 out of 100 patients within 30 days post-surgery. Additionally, it has been proven to reduce the incidence of hospital-related S. aureus infections by up to 60% when used alongside a nasal antibiotic.
Hibiwash does not penetrate the skin but adheres to it, creating a protective barrier that eliminates and inhibits microorganisms for an extended duration after use. Unlike povidone iodine, Hibiwash remains effective in the presence of bodily fluids.
The reformulation of Hibiwash focuses on sustainability, utilizing fewer raw materials and energy during production.
