These cloths are designed for ease of use, effectively replacing traditional continence care methods like soap and water bowls, dry wipes, cleansing foams, and barrier creams.
Clinell Barrier Cloths are dermatologically tested and free from parabens and lanolin, featuring a patented pH-neutral formula with natural extracts of witch hazel and chamomile, ensuring they are gentle on sensitive skin.
Constructed from thick, high-quality spun-laced non-woven material, these cloths are available in individual patient packs to minimize cross-contamination risks.
Incontinence-associated dermatitis (IAD) is an inflammation caused by contact with urine and/or feces. IAD is a complication of incontinence that affects skin integrity, increases the risk of skin infections, and heightens the likelihood of pressure ulcers. Preventing IAD involves minimizing skin exposure by applying a skin protectant. Clinell Barrier Cloths include 10% barrier cream (4% dimethicone and 6% liquid paraffin) to shield against moisture and provide essential protection against feces and urine, thereby preventing IAD.
