The affordable, low-resistance SafeTway® mouthpiece allows exhaled air to enter the measurement system without returning to the user. This straightforward yet efficient patented design eliminates worries about accidental inhalation of pathogens.
The SafeTway serves as a cost-effective substitute for the bacterial viral filter in tests that require exhalation only. It is compatible with most pulmonary function testing devices, including peak flow meters. An adaptor might be necessary.
The Mini SafeTway, featuring a 22mm diameter mouthpiece, is also offered for pediatric use or for elderly individuals who find it challenging to use the standard mouthpiece size.
