Calibration Tool for Suretemp 690/692 Thermometers
To ensure the thermometer's precision, check its calibration whenever there are doubts about its clinical accuracy.
Annual testing of the unit is advised.
This procedure employs a constant value to confirm the device's proper calibration.
1. Detach any probe currently attached to the SureTemp® Plus Thermometer.
2. Attach the SureTemp® Calibration Tool.
3. Allow one minute for the device to switch to Monitor mode and show the temperature.
4. The temperature should display as 36.3 +/- 0.1ºC or 97.3 +/- 0.2ºF.
5. Detach the SureTemp® Calibration Tool.
6. Reattach the original probe to the device.
