This Beauchene human skull model serves as an excellent educational resource for exploring the intricate anatomy of the human skull. Comprising numerous individual bones that gradually fuse during development, the 3B Scientific® Beauchene Adult Human Skull is a top choice. It is a natural replica of a Beauchene skull, simplifying the understanding of its complex anatomical structure by allowing disassembly into 22 separate bones.

This educational version features color-coded bones and bone pairs for easier identification. The bones can be reassembled using discreet, sturdy connectors located at the slightly simplified skull sutures.

The bones are connected using an innovative internal pin system that preserves the natural anatomy. With 22 bones, this pin system provides enhanced stability compared to magnetic connections.

The skull includes the following individual bones:

  • Parietal bone (left and right)
  • Occipital bone
  • Frontal bone
  • Temporal bone (left and right)
  • Sphenoid bone
  • Ethmoid bone
  • Vomer bone
  • Zygomatic bone (left and right)
  • Upper jaw (maxilla) with teeth (left and right)
  • Palatine bone (left and right)
  • Nasal concha (left and right)
  • Lacrimal bone (left and right)
  • Nasal bone (left and right)
  • Lower jaw (mandible) with teeth
