The ZOE® gynecological simulator is designed to replicate the lower body of an adult female, featuring precise internal anatomical structures and realistic female reproductive organs, including fimbriae and ovaries. This simulator allows for comprehensive training in various pelvic examinations, such as laparoscopy, mini-laparotomy, pathology identification, and contraceptive device placement.
Gynecological training encompasses:
- Life-sized female lower torso with accurate internal anatomical features
- Bi-manual pelvic assessment
- Palpation of both normal and gravid uteri
- Vaginal examination, including speculum insertion
- Identification of normal and abnormal cervical appearances
- Uterine sounding procedures
- Insertion and removal of IUDs
- Distal vaginal end supports female condom introduction or 75mm diaphragm sizing
- Removable introitus for enhanced versatility with multiple ZOE® options
- Laparoscopic inspection and fallopian tube occlusion
- Minilaparotomy procedures
- One anteverted and one retroverted parous uterus
- Normal uterus with short fallopian tubes for palpation practice
