What materials are used in this sackholder?
This sackholder is constructed using high-quality, corrosion-resistant galvanized steel and durable ABS plastic. The lid is made from galvanized steel for durability, while the base is plastic to enhance corrosion resistance, especially in damp environments. The body is made from Plastisol (plastic-coated steel) or can be equipped with a clear body for recycling purposes.

This sackholder is operated via a foot pedal. Users simply press the pedal to open the lid, allowing waste disposal without hand contact. An optional hands-free frame minimizes the need for manual operation.

This Hybrid Sackholder is built to rigorous standards and complies with HTM 05-03 Managing Healthcare Fire Safety guidelines from the Department of Health. Our closed-body sackholders have been independently tested by Exova Warrington Fire Research, and we use Class ‘O’ fire-rated Plastisol bodies that meet British Board of Agrement regulations.
What color options are available for this sackholder?
This sackholder comes in white as standard, with various lid color options to facilitate safe healthcare waste segregation.

- Choose yellow for Category A Hazardous Waste, intended for incineration, such as drug-contaminated sharps.

How is this sackholder emptied?
To empty the sackholder, use the foot pedal to lift the lid and pull the frame upwards to release the bag. Lift the bag from the top, replace it with a new one, fold the bag
