The formula is free from sodium and potassium hydroxide. It meets international testing standards for unicellular algae and invertebrates in both freshwater and saltwater environments. These tests adhere to guidelines from the Organisation of Economic Co-operation and Development (for freshwater species) and the International Standards Organisation (ISO) for saltwater species. The product is biodegradable, phosphate-free, and environmentally friendly.
