The bin offers dual operation methods; a seamless 'lip' design allows users to lift the lid manually for waste disposal, while the foot pedal enables hands-free operation, lifting the chute for sanitary waste placement.
The modesty chute design ensures discreet disposal of feminine waste, keeping contents hidden and secure. For emptying, the chute-lid fully reclines, allowing easy access for waste removal.

The collection includes two compact units, standard 28-litre and 42-litre options, and large 80-litre bins for nappies and changing areas. We suggest compact units for toilet proximity and 42-litre bins for larger washrooms. The 80-litre bins are suited for changing rooms, nappy disposal, and high-use areas like nursing homes.
Legal Considerations for Sanitary Bins
The Environmental Protection Act 1990 (Section 34) mandates responsible handling of sanitary waste from storage to disposal. The Water Industries Act 1991 prohibits flushing sanitary waste to prevent blockages. Duty of Care Regulations 1991 require appropriate sanitary waste disposal in businesses, public areas, and workplaces with female presence.
The sanitary bins feature a yellow lid for clinical waste, suitable for heat treatment. For a stylish washroom addition, bins can be powder coated in colors like silver, black, white, and grey.
