The Wireless Alert TP monitors temperatures ranging from -40°C (-40°F) to 125°C (257°F). Users receive email notifications whenever the temperature exceeds or falls below their specified thresholds, and also when it stabilizes within those limits.
Setting up the device is straightforward. Just follow the instructions in the free Wireless Alert mobile app, which is available for download. During the setup process, users can input a contact email and set high and/or low temperature thresholds. If the device detects temperatures outside these specified ranges, it sends an email alert to the designated address, and an LED on the device will flash to provide a visual alert.
This allows for prompt corrective measures to address temperature issues, safeguarding temperature-sensitive items or maintaining comfort for building occupants.
The device is also capable of sending scheduled summary reports on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, as chosen by the user. These reports include details on minimum, maximum, and average temperatures, battery status, the number of alerts sent, and the duration spent in alert mode.
