Philips HeartStart FR2 Defibrillation Electrode Pads are versatile pads compatible with Philips (and Laerdal) HeartStart FR2 and FR2+ AEDs, as well as older Forerunner AEDs. They serve as replacements for the original electrode pads provided with your Philips HeartStart FR2 AED. We offer them at an excellent price!
These electrode pads are suitable for patients aged 8 and older or weighing more than 55 lbs. (25 kg). For children under 8 years or weighing less than 55 lbs., we recommend the Philips HeartStart FR2 Infant/Child Reduced Energy Defibrillator Electrode Pads (model number M3870A).
These electrodes are primarily intended for use with Philips HeartStart AEDs, featuring packaging and instructions tailored for occasional users. However, they are also appropriate for both BLS and ACLS trained responders. They are disposable, self-adhesive, and have an active surface area of 100 square centimeters. Each pair of Philips HeartStart electrode pads comes in a sealed package with an integrated 48-inch cable and connector.

Instructions for use
- Remove clothing from the patient's torso.
- Dry any moisture from the patient's skin and remove excessive chest hair if needed.
- Open the electrode pads package.
- Ensure the pads and cable are intact.
- Peel off the protective backing from the electrode pads. Verify that the gel on the pads is not dried out. If it is, use a new set of electrode pads.
- Apply the electrode pads with the adhesive side to the patient's skin. For an adult, place one pad below the right collarbone and the other over the ribs in line with the armpit and below the left breast.
- Connect the pads to the Philips HeartStart FR2+ AED. Ensure the pads connector is securely seated in the connector socket.
