Astralite® is engineered to allow the light head to be maneuvered completely around the patient table, ensuring comprehensive examination coverage. Its five rotational axes facilitate optimal light beam positioning from any direction.
The LED lifespan exceeds 50,000 hours, translating to over two decades of typical usage.
Astralite® consumes under 32 VA. The LEDs are free from mercury and do not include CFCs, POPs, VOCs, halogens, or other hazardous substances.
The absence of bulb replacements throughout the product's lifespan makes Astralite® extremely cost-effective. LEDs deliver more surgical-grade illumination with reduced energy consumption.
Incorporating antimicrobial agents helps eliminate harmful bacteria. The smooth, seamless surfaces are easy to clean, with minimal split lines. The Astralite® light head is designed to prevent dirt and liquid penetration, ensuring contamination is avoided.
Biomaster antimicrobial additive is integrated into the plastic components of the lamp head, and ‘Ultra Fresh’ is included in the lamp head coating. Both additives possess antimicrobial characteristics.
