The BARDEX® I.C. anti-infective latex Foley catheter is scientifically validated to lower the risk of catheter-related urinary tract infections. Utilizing an innovative blend of BARD® hydrogel and BACTI-GUARD®* silver alloy coating, the BARDEX® I.C. Foley catheter significantly decreases bacterial attachment and limits biofilm development.
The likelihood of urinary tract infections is 3.7 times higher in patients using a conventional catheter compared to those using the BARDEX® I.C. Foley catheter with BARD® hydrogel and BACTI-GUARD®* silver alloy coating.
Suggested indwelling duration should not surpass 28 days2.
