CELOX HALTS CRITICAL TRAUMATIC BLEEDING.
In a comprehensive analysis within a combat environment, where reducing treatment time was crucial, Celox Gauze surpassed other haemostatic products tested, and was the only one to show a statistically significant enhancement in survival, even among the most critically injured.
Out of 3,792 cases, a haemostatic dressing was used in 317 (either Celox, Hemcon, or QuikClot). Comparing patients treated with a haemostatic dressing to those without, there was a 7% increase in survival.
Celox was the sole hemostatic dressing linked to a statistically significant boost in survival, particularly evident in the most severely injured (NISS 36–75).
Independent comparative studies in the form of a meta-analysis indicated a statistically significant survival improvement with Celox Gauze, compared to other agents.
