The CoaguChek XS PT Test PST is designed for in-vitro measurement of prothrombin time (PT) using the CoaguChek INRange or CoaguChek XS meter. This test is specifically for patient self-monitoring and utilizes fresh capillary whole blood.
Each vial contains strips and a unique code chip, which must be inserted into the CoaguChek meter and remain there until all strips from that vial are used.
Roche's strip technology incorporates automatic quality controls that verify internal system operations and each test strip. To maintain their integrity, strips should be kept in the vial with the cap securely closed to shield them from moisture and contamination. Remove strips individually, and store them at room temperature, away from direct sunlight.
