In cases of sudden cardiac arrest, swift and effective action by bystanders is crucial for increasing survival chances. The FRED PA-1 AED activates instantly when the cover is opened, with electrode pads already connected. It guides users through the life-saving process with clear audio prompts and straightforward illustrations. A repeat button is available for audio instructions if any steps are missed.
The FRED PA-1 conducts a quick heart analysis while pre-charging for a shock, ensuring rapid delivery if necessary. Shocks are administered automatically when needed, without user intervention.
CPR is vital for successful resuscitation, and the FRED PA-1 assists users by indicating proper hand placement, setting a chest compression rhythm with a metronome, and offering real-time feedback on compression frequency.
The AED performs regular self-checks to maintain readiness and, with a 6-year battery standby life, is among the most cost-effective AEDs available. It boasts an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance and functions in temperatures from -5 to 40C. Weighing only 2.5kg and equipped with a built-in handle, it is easily portable to emergency locations. The device can store up to 2 hours of intervention data on an SD card, facilitating data retrieval and software updates.
Both adult and pediatric defibrillation pads are available for the FRED PA-1. The device automatically detects the attached pads and adjusts shock energy accordingly. Children's pads can be stored at the back of the device, reducing the time needed to switch pads.
