HeartSine has revolutionized maintenance components by merging AED batteries and electrodes into a single-use unit known as the Pad-Pak. The Pad-Pak's benefit is the simplicity of tracking just one expiration date and replacing only one component when needed.
Each Pad-Pak boasts an unprecedented four-year lifespan, delivering 60 shocks or six hours of continuous monitoring. When the battery is low, with 10 shocks remaining, the HeartSine samaritan PAD provides an audible alert.
The samaritan PAD’s advanced technology and specialized Pediatric Pad-Pak ensure the correct energy level is administered for children.
- Adult Pad-Pak (gray) is designed for individuals aged 8 and above, weighing over 55 lbs/25 kg.
HeartSine’s distinctive Pad-Pak and Pediatric Pak present innovative benefits:
- Two components, one expiration date. The Pad-Pak/Pediatric-Pak integrates battery and electrode pads, simplifying expiration date management.
- Cost-effective ownership. With a four-year shelf life from manufacturing, the Pad-Pak/Pediatric-Pak offers substantial savings compared to other defibrillators requiring separate battery and pad replacements.
