KTwo comprises of two seperate bandages:

• K Tech - (1st layer) formed from a wadding and short stretch compression fabric
• K Press - (2nd layer) cohesive, elastic bandage

KTwo combines both short and long stretch bandages to provide an two layer compression system

Benefits

• Effectively treats leg ulcers irrespective of ankle size
• Maintains 40 mmHg compression for up to 7 days
• Has a massage effect when the patient is mobile
• Pressure indicators on bandage ensure correct pressure with minimal training

Pressure Indicator

• K Tech and K Press had a pressure indicator to ensure the correct pressure level is applied.
• Each bandage is printed with an ellipse which, when the correct stretch is reached, will become a circle.
• The Pressure Indicator marks should be just covered to obtain the correct overlap.
• Optimal pressure is achieved when the correct stretch and overlap is obtained.

Indications

• For the treatment of venous leg ulcers
• Reduction of chronic venous oedema

Contra-Indications

Contra-indicated for patients with an arterial condition or when ankle-brachial pressure index (ABPI) measured below 0.8.
