The Laerdal Pocket Mask is crafted for use by professional rescuers and first responders, ensuring optimal safety for both the rescuer and the individual in need. It features an advanced one-way valve paired with a disposable hydrophobic filter to effectively block the transfer of fluids and secretions.
The design allows rescuers to observe the patient's mouth color, secretions, and chest movements from a safe distance. An optional oxygen inlet supports the administration of additional oxygen during ventilation for non-breathing individuals or for inhalation by those breathing spontaneously.
