The EL-WiFi-TP+ monitors the temperature where the probe is located. This precision sensor offers an accuracy of ±0.2°C/ ±0.4°F within the range of -15 to +80°C / +5 to +176°F. It transmits data wirelessly over any WiFi network, accessible on a PC through complimentary software or via the FilesThruTheAir™ Cloud.
During setup, the sensor connects to a PC to detect available wireless networks. Once configured, it can be positioned anywhere within network coverage. If the sensor loses network connection, it will continue to log data until it reconnects with the PC application or FilesThruTheAir™ Cloud (up to 30 days at a 10-second sampling rate).
The sensor complies with IEEE 802.11b standards and supports WEP, WPA/WPA2 encryption, and enterprise networks. The EL-WiFi-TP+ is rated IP43, while the probe is rated IP67. The device can stand alone or be mounted on a wall or surface using the included bracket.
