Having a spare set of defibrillator electrodes could mean all the difference when it comes to saving the life of someone who has suffered a cardiac arrest.
Although well protected prior to use, electrodes are vulnerable to the elements once removed from their foil packet, meaning that there is pressure for everything to go right first time. With a back up set of Physio Control Redipak Quick Combo Electrodes to hand, that pressure is removed.
Pad features
- For use with the Lifepak 1000 defibrillators
- Pre-connected design ensuring that time is saved during the rescue process
- Defibrillator performs regular self tests ensuring the pads are in optimum working condition
- Sticky adhesive ensures that once the pads are applied to the patient, they will not move during treatment
How to use
After you have removed the electrodes from their protective foil packaging, there are instructional images on the pads to help the first responder to place the electrodes correctly on the patient.
Once placed, the pads will begin to analyse the heart of the patient and send the information to the defibrillator to determine if treatment from the unit is the best course of action for the patient.
If treatment is advised, the defibrillator will either deliver the shock itself (fully automatic models) or will advise the first responder to provide the treatment by pushing the shock button (semi automatic models).
Suitable for adults and young patients over 8 years old or over 55lbs, the Physio-Control edge system electrodes are designed for use in conjunction with the Lifepak 1000 defibrillators. The adult electrode pads are supplied as a pair in a sealed pack and use skin-friendly hydrogel for maximum adhesion to the skin during defibrillator use.
- For use in conjunction with the Physio-Control Lifepak 1000 and Physio-Control Lifepak 1000 with ECG Display defibrillators
- Also suitable for the discontinued Physio Control Lifepak 500 defibrillator
- Supplied as a pair in a single sealed pack
- 18 months Electrode Pad Lifespan
- Ideal to keep as a spare or simply to replace electrodes that have been used
- Uses REDI-PAK preconnect system: allows the electrodes to be connected to the defibrillator prior to use
- Suitable for adults and young patients over 8 years old or more than 55lbs in weight
- Highly adhesive skin-friendly hydrogel ensures a strong bond: prevents detaching or lifting
- Designed to distribute the current over the entire surface area of the electrode
