The RESCUE LOOP Rescue Sling is designed and certified for attachment to a safety chain during rescue missions, adhering to European standards (EN 354, EN 566, EN 795B). It provides ample safety with a failure load of 22 kN.
The RESCUE-LOOP offers versatile applications:
- Assists in carrying injured individuals to safety
- Functions as an emergency harness for self-rescue or aiding others
- Room searching:
The sling is clipped to a firefighter’s belt using an HMS carabiner, while the other
end is held by the team leader. This method reduces search time and ensures
the team remains connected securely.
- Securing and closing fire doors:
Initially, the sling is attached to the door handle; after room inspection, in the
event of a potential explosive flame or flashover, the door can be shut swiftly
and securely. This technique is also effective when cooling flue gases with
nozzles!
