The seca 704 s column scale is designed for simultaneous measurement and weighing. It features an integrated measuring rod that accurately records height up to 230 cm, alongside weight. The device calculates BMI automatically and can transmit results wirelessly to a printer or EMR system. User-friendly features ensure the display is accessible while the patient remains on the scale, and the dual-sided measuring rod is easy to read. The TARE function, also known as the mother/child function, allows for the child's weight to be measured while being held, by deducting the mother's pre-recorded weight. The heel positioner ensures consistent height measurements using a 3-point method.
