The Micro+TM Smokerlyzer® is a sophisticated carbon monoxide detector designed for comprehensive use in monitoring breath and ambient air CO levels. It features three distinct testing modes tailored for adults, teenagers, and expectant mothers. Additionally, it offers an ambient air mode to assess CO concentrations in the environment.
The Micro+TM is equipped with a large, user-friendly touchscreen color display. Users can input and save data directly on the device. The testing process is straightforward, with intuitive on-screen icons guiding users through inhalation, exhalation, and completion. Depending on the selected mode, the device evaluates carbon monoxide (ppm), carboxyhaemoglobin (%COHb), and fetal carboxyhaemoglobin (%FCOHb) in breath samples. Results are quickly displayed, showing ppm, %COHb, and %FCOHb values, along with a green, amber, and red traffic light system for easy result interpretation. Users can customize interpretation ranges to suit their preferences.
The Micro+TM can connect to a PC via USB for use with the complimentary COdata+ software. This software facilitates patient data entry, real-time reading capture, result downloads, detailed reporting, and more. The device is also compatible with the “Pregnancy in Women” software, providing real-time testing for pregnant women with dynamic on-screen results indicated by a glowing green, yellow, or red fetus.
This device requires no calibration and comes with a 5-year manufacturer's warranty. Verification gas and kits are available for status checks if needed.
The device utilizes a reusable, multi-patient d-piece in conjunction with Bedfont’s patent-pending Steribreath® single-use mouthpieces. These are available in boxes of 250, each individually sealed to ensure optimal infection control.
