Trainhaler CR is an intuitive pMDI training tool designed to enhance flow and coordination skills. This eco-friendly, placebo-like pMDI training device, when paired with the Flo-Tone CR, becomes an invaluable resource for healthcare providers to instruct proper inhaler usage. The Trainhaler CR is adaptable for use with multiple patients by simply replacing the Flo-Tone CR for each user. A whistle sound indicates correct inhalation technique.
The onset of the whistle serves as a cue to activate the canister. Ideally, the whistle should continue for 5 seconds, confirming that the patient is inhaling smoothly and at the optimal flow rate.
