Mepilex® XT foam dressing is crafted for wounds with moderate exudate. It absorbs more fluid than typical foam dressings. Its flexibility and adaptability make it suitable for wounds with both normal and thick fluids, at any stage of the exuding wound healing process. Mepilex XT features a Safetac® wound contact layer. Dressings with Safetac® are proven to reduce damage to the wound and skin upon removal. By sealing the wound edges, they help prevent maceration. With reduced damage to the wound and skin, pain during dressing changes is minimized.
